Slavery

pretty girl
empty inside
doesn't really know herself
apart from what
her body can buy her
a sexual cage
of desperate longing
for something more
she watches life
just pass her by
from between the bars
of her own insecurity
a trap that traps
the self esteem of others
sunk lower than her own
she keeps herself afloat
by how she can control
the one she sets her sights on
her power only gained
from one who willingly gives it
a slave to  lust
to hunger
to desire
he becomes a thing
for her to toy with
she preys on the weak
for strength that won't sustain her
constantly she seeks
for more attention
than he could possibly give her
yet still they're bound
to one another
each consumed
by what the other
provides them
